Monogram Home® specializes in crafting innovative engineered hardwood and bamboo countertops using sustainably sourced materials, including North American Maple, Walnut, and Hickory, European White Oak, and responsibly harvested Asian Bamboo. Perfect for both residential and commercial spaces, our high-quality engineered slabs are designed for a variety of applications, such as interior islands, countertops, tabletops, and architectural panels.

CROSS-CORE

TECHNOLOGY

Our Cross-Core technology features solid-cut pickets of species-specific material laid perpendicularly between the exterior planks, creating a balanced structure for maximum core stability and performance. Utilizing premium bonding agents, all adhesives have no added Urea-Formaldehyde and are TSCA Title VI Compliant to ensure indoor air quality.

STYLES & OPTIONS

Wood countertops offer endless possibilities for customization and style. The hardwood core of our countertops matches the outer plank structure, ensuring  consistent quality. Monogram Home® countertops feature locally sourced American maple and walnut, as well as European white oak and natural bamboo.

Monogram Home® countertops are available in a range of wood species, including locally sourced American maple and walnut, European white oak, and natural bamboo. Each countertop is crafted to meet industry-leading standards for quality and environmental safety.

The wood and bamboo materials used in our countertops are 100% natural and responsibly sourced in accordance with USFA and PEFC standards. All Monogram Home® countertop materials are fully compliant with TSCA TITLE VI regulations.

HARD FACTS

Styles and Wood Options

Wood countertops offer endless possibilities for customization and style. The hardwood core of our countertops matches the outer plank structure, ensuring consistent quality. Monogram Home® countertops feature locally sourced American maple and walnut, as well as European white oak and natural bamboo.

NeuCore Construction

Our innovative NeuCore engineered technology features cross-banded, solid-cut slabs placed inversely between exterior planks. This design evenly distributes stress for superior durability and core performance.

Warp resistance: NeuCore minimizes warping, promoting structural longevity.

Eco-friendly bonding: Slabs are joined using a non-toxic WoodBond adhesive with zero VOCs. This adhesive meets stringent environmental standards, including JAIA 010925 F and TITLE VI TSCA compliance.

Opposite Grain Positioning

Each wood layer is hand-selected and arranged with opposing grain directions, enhancing stability and durability. This method prevents warping and maintains slab integrity over time.

Rigorous Testing

Monogram Home® countertops undergo extensive testing to ensure durability and performance:

Moisture stability: Panels are tested for changes in dimensional stability under varying moisture conditions.

Warp resistance: Materials are inspected for cupping, warping, or bond failures after exposure.

Our countertops consistently pass these stringent tests.

Relative Humidity and Moisture

Proper humidity levels are essential for maintaining wood countertop integrity.

Ideal range: Maintain a consistent 35% to 55% relative humidity year-round.

Important note: Dry environments unable to sustain this range are unsuitable for wood countertops.

Finishing Options

Our countertops are delivered natural and unfinished. Finishes provide varying levels of protection, durability, and aesthetics.

Choosing a finish: Select based on trade-offs between durability, protection, and ease of maintenance.

Water-repellent finishes: Reduce the impact of moisture and make cleaning easier.

Testing recommended: Always test finishes for stain resistance and durability before application.

Natural Dimensional Changes

Wood is a natural material and may expand or contract based on humidity:

High humidity: Wood absorbs moisture and swells.

Low humidity: Wood releases moisture and shrinks.

Kiln drying ensures an optimal moisture level at delivery, but changes over time are expected.

Warranty

5-Year Limited Warranty
